Tina Smith Rogers

I lived in Hawaii from early 1969 to June of 1973. My Dad SSGT James M Smith was stationed at Hickam AFB. Also my Mom Pat Smith and 2 younger sisters Cathy and Vicky.

I attended Radford only my Freshman year...but had many friendships from Jr High. I attended second half of 5th and all of 6th grades at Nanakuli Elementary, Nanakuli before we moved on base.

Being a "Military Brat" I attended many schools before Hawaii and 4 more HS's after...Graduating from Big Sandy HS, Big Sandy Texas in 1976. Needless to say friendships were very hard to keep up with and you go through life wondering if you are remembered by ANYONE.....I know two of my dearest friends were Loretta Ables, and Donna Hayes (Donna also military)...along with many others I can see on the list....

Though I most likley won't be able to attend the reunion, re-connecting with any of my past friends would be a dream come true....

I have held many jobs in my life but the one I hold most dear is WIFE, I have been married to my husband Willie since June 11, 1976. Then MOTHER, we have 3 great Kids and "11" WONDERFUL GRANDKIDS....

I wasn't a "Top Notch" student....I was pretty shy until I got to know someone....But I did love CHOIR...and Freshman Year was the year of the "Psycodelic Dresses" !!!! We had to have them made, my Mom being the awesome seamstress she was made mine and a couple others.....the pattern was a tough one (even with all her experience) and I thought she might just kill us all for choosing it before she was finished!!!!
