ALOHA CLASSMATES

The start of vaccinations and pandemic recovery has given us hope that we can have our 45th year reunion this year. So a bunch of us meet Saturday January 9th via ZOOM.

There was general agreement that we should plan for October, it gives the most time for pandemic recovery to occur but not too close to holidays. Though it is not yet clear whether the recovery is going fast enough to have that happen.  So we will meet again in March to see how the recovery is going.

To keep our options open we are considering Oahu, San Diego, and Las Vegas for the reunion.  It’s not just whether they will be open, but how safe everyone will feel traveling and gathering there.

So nothing is definite, but we wanted to share our thoughts and give us all something to hope for – an October reunion in Oahu, San Diego, or Las Vegas.
