School Story:
Aries was doing a service project that somehow involved plants and mud. We had a pickup truck to help us move the stuff. I believe Pat Kemp was actually the driver of the truck.
After finishing the job for the day we got ready to leave and Pat yelled just hop on the back. Well I jumped up and my extreeemly muddy feet slipped off the bumper just as the truck took off.
So there I am hanging on to the tail gate afraid to let go, lest I drop onto my face, yet my feet are starting to get really, really hot as they are dragging on the pavement.
I finally manage to flip over and let go, successfully sliding about 30 feet on my bottom. Except for a few scratches, very hot toes, and runed shoes, I am un harmed.
I stand up, reach into my back pock and get my glasses. I notice two things right away: my back pockets have pretty good holes in them, and about a quarter of the surface of my glasses is gone.
So I was relative unscathed, but too blind to drive home.
